ORGANIC PLANT-BASED SPREAD
Nettle creates delicious, original and deceptively simple plant-based spreads using whole organic ingredients and unique methods of fermentation.
Organic nuts and spring water are blended together and fermented using a five-strain live culture to develop their signature flavours. Once cured, a variety of spices and seasonings are added.
Consumers are seeking minimally processed, nutrient-dense and environmentally sustainable. Made in small batches following a zero-waste policy, Nettle is packed full of pre-biotics and probiotics.
The vegan range includes raw, activated cashew soft che*ses, macadamia and cashew pâtés, each adding creaminess, acidity, and depth of flavour to any dish, and delicious on their own as a condiment.

DESCRIPTION & TASTING NOTES
Haverstock White
Cashew and macadamia nuts form a soft spread marinated in garlic, fresh thyme, black peppercorns and olive oil. Creamy, with a salty tang and a robust acidity akin to a Persian Feta.
Treatment: raw and unpasteurised.
Serving suggestions: add it to salads, tacos, roast vegetables, pasta or simply dress any creation with the full-flavoured marinating oil.
Mushroom Truffle Pâté
A completely zero-waste product, taking the excess liquid from Symplicity’s mushroom and vegetable ferments, and combining it with a fermented cashew base, white truffle oil, fresh lemon juice and a dash of maple syrup. The result is a creamy, intensely umami, savoury pâté-style product.
Treatment: raw and unpasteurised, sealed with a layer olive oil to maintain freshness.
Serving suggestions: stir through pasta, into gravy, ramen, or sauces to add umami flavour, works well as a dip, on bread with rocket, or as a blini topping.
Preserved Lemon Dill
A blend of preserved lemon dill creamed che*se with a fermented cashew base, whole preserved Sicilian green lemons and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. It’s zesty and bright; balanced beautifully with aromatic dill and black peppercorns.
Treatment: raw and unpasteurised, sealed with a layer of olive oil to maintain freshness.
Serving suggestions: stir through pasta, pair with fish, spread onto bagels, or dress salads.
Sumac Chilli Mint
A blend of sumac chilli and mint creamed che*se with a fermented cashew base and whole fermented chillies, spearmint and dried sumac berries. There is a subtle freshness to the taste with citrusy notes, and a hint of heat.
Treatment: raw and unpasteurised, sealed with a layer of olive oil to maintain freshness.
Serving suggestions: can be used in place of a labneh, stir through pasta, pair with fritters or fried courgette flowers, use as a dip for crudites or toasted pita.
Cultured Gold
Nettle’s take on cultured butter, made from cultured cashew milk. Smooth and buttery in texture and lightly salted.
Treatment: raw and unpasteurised, sealed with a layer of olive oil to maintain freshness
Serving suggestions: can be used anywhere a traditional butter is used - baking included!
